More information about Moodle

When we develop online training events, we install the capabilities that you need. We can provide you with a site that is personalized and yet powerful. For example, all workshops can be set up to provide our clients access to reporting features, tools to track workshop performance, and plug-in certificates management features.

Our training capabilities include real-time "live" presentations, instructor-led asynchronous training, and FAQ lists or other company-wide information. Our client-managers or human resource directors get full access student tracking, certificate management, and reporting features.

Our online courses are delivered through Moodle, an open-source learning management system.

Moodle stands out as a unique and reliable open source learning management system. There are thousands of registered sites listed at Moodle.org, and these are not just small operations. For example, the University of Louisiana decided to drop Blackboard in favor of Moodle. LSU has some 15,000 accounts registered on Moodle, offers entire courses, course support and other services for her students and faculty.

Moodle is getting better. Version 2.0 is due out in 2010 and from what we have learned, the upgrades are exciting. Database integration, shared sites and improved record keeping are a few of the new goodies. We are current with our upgrades and are looking forward to offering our clients the latest in Moodle technologies.

Finally, Moodle has an active community of developers. Whatever the training requires may be, a series of modules have already been written to meet those needs. While some of the modules still require some adjustment, the DI team has the right mix of technologists to prepare the module for peak performance.
